SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cutting devices for cutting a material web. Device comprises a foot step, a cutting unit and a rotatable cutting unit having a longitudinal axis and at least one cutting edge. In this case, the cutting edge is disposed at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the rotatable cutting unit, and the cutting unit is oriented in the opposite direction with the possibility of adjustment to the web feed direction at an adjustable angle.
EFFECT: invention is aimed to increase the functional specifications of the device and to increase its service life.
