SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely, to laboratory clinical diagnosis, and can be used to conduct laboratory analyzes of the dynamics of changes in the rate of erythrocyte sedimentation, and also for research purposes. Method for determining the dynamics of changes in the rate of erythrocyte sedimentation includes the determination of the maximum size of erythrocyte sedimentation according to the calibration characteristic, calibration is carried out a priori for two measured and known values of the height of the plasma layer at two times, calibration characteristic is the function of the maximum value of erythrocyte sedimentation, compensating the uncertainty of the time constant chosen arbitrarily, and connecting the reference and measured characteristics of the height of the plasma layer due to the normalization of the measured values by known, according to the calibration characteristic, the real values of the time constant and the maximum value of erythrocyte sedimentation are found, along which the calibration characteristic and the actual characteristic of the rate of erythrocyte sedimentation are consistently constructed.

EFFECT: method provides an increase in the accuracy of determining the dynamics of the change in the rate of erythrocyte sedimentation by 7 orders of magnitude due to the calibration characteristic compensating for the uncertainty of the time constant chosen arbitrarily.
