FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to laboratory clinical diagnostics and can be used to conduct laboratory analyzes of the dynamics of changes in the rate of erythrocyte sedimentation, and also for research purposes. Method includes determining the time constant from the calibration characteristic of erythrocyte sedimentation according to the calibration characteristic, calibration is carried out a priori for two measured and known values of the height of the plasma layer at two times, calibration characteristic is a function of the time constant that compensates for the uncertainty of the maximum value of erythrocyte sedimentation, chosen arbitrarily, and connecting the reference and measured characteristics of the height of the plasma layer due to the normalization of the measured values by the known ones, according to the calibration characteristic, the real values of the time constant and the maximum value of the erythrocyte sedimentation are found, on which the calibration characteristic is consistently constructed and the actual characteristic of the erythrocyte sedimentation rate is calculated from the formulas. Invention provides improvement in the accuracy of determining the actual erythrocyte sedimentation rate characteristic due to the calibration characteristic compensating for the uncertainty of the maximum value of erythrocyte sedimentation, chosen arbitrarily.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the accuracy of determining the dynamics of the change in the rate of erythrocyte sedimentation by 4 orders of magnitude.
