FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used to determine changes in erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR). That is ensured by mixing the analysed blood sample with an anticoagulant. Obtained solution is placed into a hematocrit capillary and centrifuged. Then, the height of the plasma layer is measured from the pulse dynamic characteristic, the amplitude of which is fixed at two multiple points in time. Time constant T and a maximum sedimentation value of erythrocytes H are determined. Calibration characteristics are used to find the actual erythrocyte sedimentation rate characteristic.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy of determining the dynamics of ESR change with unknown information parameters - maximum value of erythrocyte sedimentation and time constant for compensation of their non-linearity.
