FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to off-road vehicles and can be used as a propulsor in wheelchairs to overcome staircases of common use. Screw propeller contains a cylindrical rotor with a screw crest. Cylindrical rotor has openings on cylindrical surfaces free from the helical crest, through which a part of the pneumatic chamber, which fills the cylindrical rotor from inside, can flow to the level above the screw ridge when the excess pressure is applied to the pneumatic chamber.
EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities of screw propeller when moving on hard surfaces is achieved, as well as overcoming staircases of common use.
