SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to medical genetics, and is intended for early genetic diagnosis of risk for developing type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM). DNA is extracted from peripheral blood, followed by polymerase chain reaction in real time. Receptor genetic polymorphism to incretin GLP-1R is analyzed. Reduced risk of developing type 2 diabetes is predicted in detecting the genotype GG of polymorphism rs6923761 of the GLP-1R gene.
EFFECT: invention provides an effective diagnosis of a reduced risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
