FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to medical genetics, and allows predicting the risk of developing genital endometriosis for individuals of the Slavic population of the Northwestern Federal District. Method includes the extraction of DNA from the blood, followed by a multiplex polymerase chain reaction in real time, characterized in that the analysis of polymorphic variants of the gene VEGFA: VEGFA_Forw SEQ ID N1, VEGFA_Rev SEQ ID N2, VEGFA_Wt SEQ ID N3, VEGFA_M SEQ ID N4. Increased risk of the development of genital endometriosis is predicted if the allele C is detected and the CC genotype of the rs833061 460 C/T SEQ ID N5 polymorphism of the VEGFA gene.
EFFECT: method is simple to implement, allows to develop tactics of treatment of genital endometriosis, taking into account the individual (genetic) characteristics of the patient.
