FIELD: motors and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of the internal combustion engine (ICE) spark ignition systems control and diagnostics. Gasoline internal combustion engine ignition system secondary electrical circuit components diagnosing method by the spark discharges continuous sequence, consisting in fact, that applying the high voltage pulses sequence of predetermined frequency to the diagnosed current-carrying or dielectric component and spark gap (SG) in series connected thereto, as well as to the bypass in parallel connected thereto, which is the second spark gap (SSG), with the controlled spark gap. Due to this, obtaining the continuous integral indication of spark discharges in the SG or SSG depending on the being diagnosed component technical state and the SSG spark gap size, which allows to reliably determine the being diagnosed component technical state and to provide the accurate technical diagnosis.

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling of the high-voltage energy effect on the spark ignition system diagnosed component constant monitoring.
