FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: compressograph and a dynamic compressograph method implemented thereby, which includes an air reservoir, is proposed.

EFFECT: this allows to get an oscillogram of pressure in the cylinder of a gasoline engine, to calculate the compression and the dynamics of its increase at each subsequent compression stroke based thereon, and by comparing their values in different cylinders among themselves and with standard values to determine the technical diagnosis of cylinders with high reliability.
