FIELD: wood-working industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wood-working industry, in particular to the timber longitudinal sawing machines. Band saw includes a saw block, frame, clamping mechanism, feeding mechanism. Saw block is mounted on the frame, formed by vertical supports and the upper horizontal cross member. Vertical post is mounted in the support-rotary mechanism, which consists of a body and bearings and is rigidly connected to a load trolley, installed on the I-shaped guide.
EFFECT: enabling the band saw design simplification.
