SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filtration. Air filter assy comprises jacket with airflow inlet and outlet, said jacket being provided with case and access cover. Said jacket accommodates attended filter cartridge. The latter comprises filter material unit with first and second opposite sides, first end cover arranged at first end of said filter material unit, jacket seal at first end cover and second end cover arranged at second end of filter material unit. Central through airflow passage is arranged in first end cover. Second end cover is a closed cover. Central extending part is arranged second end cover to extend from first end cover. Extending part features shape differs from the circle to include at least one arched section that features curvature corresponding to circle arc drawn around extending part centre. Extending part comprises at least one convexed invertant arched section.

EFFECT: reliable support for filter cartridge.
