FIELD: sugar industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sugar industry. Method for producing a molasses concentrate is provided, which involves mixing molasses with starch and grinding the resulting mass. In this case, liquid molasses containing 76–80 % of dry matter at an ambient temperature of not more than 40 °C, the starch is introduced, then the mixture of starch and molasses of paste-like consistency solidifies and undergoes a resting time of no more than 24 hours. Product is then ground by grinding to a fine-dispersed state.
EFFECT: method provides a molasses concentrate with a long shelf life.
