SUBSTANCE: radar level gauge comprises a transceiver, processing circuitry, a signal propagating device and a waveguide arrangement connecting the transceiver with the signal propagation device. Waveguide arrangement includes a hollow waveguide, a first dielectric filling member made of a first dielectric material and arranged inside the hollow waveguide, and a second filling member made of a second dielectric material, which second filling member is also arranged inside the hollow waveguide with offset from the first filling member in the direction from the reservoir. Second filling member is fixed in the waveguide at least in a direction out from the reservoir, and is configured to withstand temperatures up to 250°C.
EFFECT: if temperature rises to values sufficiently high to soften the first (inner) filling member, the second (outer) filling member will thus prevent the first filling member from being forced out of the waveguide.
