FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of antenna equipment, in particular to formation of angular pattern of multielement antenna array, beam formation mechanisms are provided using multielement antenna array comprising elements with a double polarization. Invention discloses method of formation of angular pattern that comprises generating of one or two beam ports, in which one or two beam ports are determined by combining at least two non-overlapping sublattices, each sublattice has two sublattice ports, the two sublattice ports having the same angular patterns and mutually orthogonal polarization, at least two non-overlapping sublattices are combined by weighting factor of extensions, weighting factors of extension maps one or two beam ports to sublattice ports, so that one or two beam ports have the same angular pattern as sublattices, at least some of weighting factors of extension have the same non-zero value and are connected in phase with the formation of beam of radiation pattern.
EFFECT: invention is intended for efficient formation of angular pattern with desired beam shapes.
