FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a processing tool used in the processing of composite materials by winding, and can be used to manufacture mesh products, for example in the form of a plate with a large number of small cells, for a sound-absorbing multilayer panel. Mandrel for the manufacture of mesh products of composite materials contains a pressure vessel fixed to it: a former shell, two central shafts, four end elements with evenly spaced pins. Mandrel is two-position, has two mutually perpendicular axis of rotation. Pressure vessel consists of two fixed rectangular frames with a convex frame. Former shell consists of two identical biconvex plates, forming together with end elements a closed surface with axial sections in the shape of an ellipse. Opposite arranged end elements with pins are shifted relative to each other in the direction of the axis of the mandrel by half a step of the pins. Central shafts consist of two removable elements in the shape of a fork and are connected to the pressure vessel.

EFFECT: expanded performances of the mandrel in terms of obtaining a product with a large number of small sized cells with holes.
