SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology, and can be used to predict the level of the cardio-ankle vascular index in patients with type 2 diabetes combined with arterial hypertension and coronary heart disease. In patients content of glucagon in blood serum is assessed at empty stomach. Determine the systolic blood pressure. Determine the body mass index. Value of the canonical linear discriminant function (z) is determined by the claimed formula. With value of z≥0.334 predict physiological value of the cardiovascular vascular index. At value of z<0.334 pathological significance of the cardio-ankle vascular index is predicted.

EFFECT: method allows to predict pathological cardio-ankle vascular index with high accuracy, to correct therapy to reduce cardiovascular risk in patients with type 2 diabetes combined with arterial hypertension and coronary heart disease by evaluating the complex of the most significant indicators.
