FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: idler (100) includes plurality of sleeve segments (102.1–102.5) which constitute outer sleeve (102), central axle (104) and a bearing surface. Plurality of sleeve segments (102.1–102.5) fit together end-to-end. Sleeve segments (102.1–102.5) have inner radially extending support wall (204) thereby to support segmented sleeve (102) in the interval between its ends.
EFFECT: providing reliable connection between sleeve segments, allowing to distribute the load between them.
