FIELD: foundry production.
SUBSTANCE: method for the manufacture of sand casting rods includes a stage of formation of rod (9) in inner space (1.0) of working box (1) by means of 3D production of a set of layers of granular material and an additive curing it. Working box (1) is moved to second station (102), and a curing stage is implemented by means of drying and microwave impact. Before the specified curing, inner space (1.0) of working box (1) is sealed in an upper part with cover (2), and plate (3) is placed between the cover and rod material. A flow for drying is generated by means of suction to inner space (1.0) of working box (1) from outside of it (1.0) and from below or above. The specified suction is carried out through plate (3) contacting with rod material and preventing movement of rod material in the inner space.
EFFECT: combination of microwave impact and drying by means of suction provides reduction in curing time.
