FIELD: fiber optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fiber optics, in particular to the technology of manufacturing quartz fiber light guides with core of photorefractive glass for manufacturing fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs). In method for manufacturing photorefractive light guides MCVD, to increase the photosensitivity, the core is doped with at least 13 and not more than 20 mole% with germanium dioxide and 1–2.2 wt% fluorine, and stripping of the fiber is carried out at heating temperature of 2,000–2,050 °C of fabricated part.
EFFECT: increasing the photorefractive properties of fluorogermanosilicate fibre-optical light guides.
