FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to criminalistics and forensics, in particular to fingerprinting, and can be used to identify a person's identity by detecting latent traces of hands left on various trace-receiving objects exposed to moisture during forensic examination. For this purpose, dispersion medium obtained by mechanical dispersion of components based on highly dispersed molybdenum disulphide is used. When producing said dispersion medium, the components are used in the following ratios, wt%: sodium oleate 0.3–3; monoethanolamine 0.2–2; myristyl alcohol 0.5–3; half-woolen or cotton fabric 65 0.1–1.5; polyvinyl alcohol 0.3–1.4; polyethylene glycol 1500 0.1–0.8; molybdenum disulphide 3–5; water up to 100.
EFFECT: invention enables to detect traces of hands exposed to moisture, with improved adsorption and adhesion properties due to optimization of surface properties of the composition, as well as high contrast of detectable traces.
