METHOD FOR DIAGNOSIS OF VIRAL INFECTION IN ENDOMETRITIS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2657436 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, pathological anatomy, and can be used by obstetrician-gynecologists and pathologists for the diagnosis of the etiological factor of chronic endometritis and the stage of the inflammatory process. Method includes the analysis of aspirates from the uterine cavity, which are taken on the 7–10th day of the menstrual cycle, an immunohistochemical study is performed to determine the antigens of the viruses in the endometrial tissue and with the localization of antigens of viruses in the stroma diagnoses an acute viral infection, and when localized in the gland cells – a chronic viral infection. Method is highly sensitive, reliable, allows an assessment of the presence, localization of virus antigen and character of morphological changes simultaneously in one histological preparation, which undoubtedly simplifies specific diagnostics.

EFFECT: use of invention allows to improve the efficiency of endometritis diagnosis.
