FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to assembly holding greasing substance for articulated link of driven shaft, for example constant velocity drive of propshaft, and pivoting unit including assembly holding greasing substance. Assembly holding greasing substance for assembly of driven shaft with sleeve shaft connected to articulated link includes outer ring and blind plug for retaining greasing substance and ventilation placed in inner diameter section of the outer ring. Blind plug includes outer annular rim with annular recess. Outer ring includes radial abutment shoulder extending radially inward and defining axial end position of the plug rim, and radial annular rib extending from inner diameter section. Rib partially occupies annular recess of the rim when blind plug is in axial end position. Blind plug further includes central part with hollow air chamber extending through blind plug between two radially extending walls, axial passageway through one of the two radially extending walls and radial annular groove communicating with air chamber.

EFFECT: improved sealing properties are achieved.
