FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing polymer materials based on cellulose by grafting monomers under the effect of ionizing radiation and can be used in making packaging materials, dyed synthetic and semi-synthetic textile materials. Method of producing radiation-cross-linked polymer material is carried out by dissolving cellulose-containing material in an aqueous solution of alkali, freezing the obtained homogeneous suspension, then its thawing, adding a precipitant to the obtained solution, separating the formed precipitation product, dispersing the latter in a solvent medium, mixing the obtained cellulose-containing suspension with an organic dye deposited on the porous support with a tubular or rod-like microstructure as a result of contacting the organic dye solution with a suspension of the porous support and separating the organic dye solution to obtain a mixing product, exposing it to gamma-radiation at an absorbed dose rate of 0.1 to 10 kGy/h to achieve an absorbed dose of 90 to 150 kGy and extraction of the irradiated product with a solvent to isolate the end product and extract with direction of latter to contact with porous carrier.

EFFECT: obtaining a radiation-cross-linked polymer material with the possibility of regulating operating properties (uniform color, chromaticity, presence of fluorescence), as well as having high mechanical strength.
