FIELD: chemical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technological processes for producing cellulose-containing polymers related to biodegradable polymeric materials which are used in various sectors of the light and printing industry, including in producing packaging materials, disposable utensils, auxiliary products for storing and transporting products, products for children, sanitary and hygienic products, gardening products, haberdashery products, synthetic and semi-synthetic textiles, construction materials using extrusion, stamping, 3D printing methods. The method for producing a cellulose-containing polymeric material consists in first mixing dispersions in a polar solvent of a cellulose-containing raw material and a monomer containing a vinyl group selected from vinyl chloride, styrene, N-vinylpyrrolidone, acrylates and methacrylates. Then a porous aluminosilicate carrier is dispersed in said mixture in which a polymerization initiator in the form of dispersion in a polar solvent and a thickening agent in the form of dispersion in a polar solvent are encapsulated. The resultant mixture is further dispersed in such a way that the dissolved oxygen is removed and the anoxygenic mixture is held at a temperature of 20°C to 90°C for 10 min to 6 h for polymerization until the monomer is converted. The obtained polymerization product is cleaned and dried to produce a target polymeric material. A water-soluble polymer is used as a thickening agent, namely a carboxymethylcellulose disodium salt or a sodium polystyrene sulfonate. Water is used as a polar solvent.
EFFECT: invention enables increasing the yield and mechanical strength of a cellulose-containing polymeric material.
