FIELD: food industry; pharmaceuticals; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filtration materials for use in food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries and a method of producing filter material. Dispersion of cellulose-containing raw material in aqueous solution of alkali, then freezing of obtained homogeneous suspension and its subsequent thawing. Then precipitants are added to the obtained solution, the formed precipitation product is separated, the latter is dispersed in the solvent medium. Obtained cellulose-containing suspension is mixed with the polymer solution to obtain a mixing product. Functional additive consisting of a porous support with a rod-like microstructure with metallic silver applied on its surface is added to the mixing product. Further, the obtained mixture is exposed to gamma-radiation at an absorbed dose rate of not more than 10 kGy/h to achieve an absorbed dose of 10 kGy to 1000 kGy and the target product is recovered.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of controlling the operational properties of the filter material obtained as a result of the described method, particularly water permeability and the presence of bacterial activity.
