FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: wheelset of a railway vehicle comprises a fixed axle with wheels mounted thereon by means of metal-polymer sliding bearings with a corrugated surface. In the axle boxes of the wheelset, there are damping elements. Springs, hydraulic dampers, inner and outer plates, axle box covers, keys of the axle and axle boxes, inner and outer rings are additionally introduced. Inside the rings, there is a damping element made of a package of corrugated plates arranged around the circumference and entering each other. The inner and outer plates are located at the ends of the rings. The springs are installed between the covers and the outer plates. The hydraulic dampers are arranged inside the springs between the axle box covers and the axle. Keyways with keys are made in the axle boxes and the axle.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the wheelset.
