SUBSTANCE: invention relates to addressing protocol frames to target devices, and more particularly to distributed data acquisition as part of object management, and can be used to address and receive a frame on a shared channel, as well as for transmitting and/or receiving frames. Addressing a frame to a target device, wherein the frame is a protocol frame, which defines a frame with at least an address part and a payload data part, comprises obtaining an address of the target device, splitting the address into a first part and a second part, allocating the first part in the address part of the frame, and allocating the second part in the payload data part of the frame.
EFFECT: technical result is ensuring reliability, profitability, energy efficiency and interoperability with other structures and devices.
