FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to molecular genetics and reproductive medicine and is intended for preventing refractory pregnancy losses. Methylation status of imprinted genes is determined in spontaneous abortus with a determined normal karyotype that excludes the presence of chromosome abnormalities PEG1, DLK1, PEG10, PLAGL1, KCNQ1OT1, PEG3 and GRB10. If there are epimutations in three or more genes, NLRP7 gene sequencing is performed in the abortus. If there are mutations in the NLRP7 gene, the mutation carrier status is determined in both spouses. If the NLRP7 gene is detected, spouses are advised to perform preimplantation genetic diagnosis for in vitro fertilization (IVF) to select and transfer an embryo with a normal genotype according to the NLRP7 gene.
EFFECT: invention provides increased chances of pregnancy within IVF cycles.
