FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electroplating and can be used in electrical contact parts, such as a connector, an output frame, a beam plug used in electrical and electronic devices. Material for the electrical connecting member used as a raw material for the connecting member comprises a metal plate on the surface of which a nickel layer is deposited, the average depth of the roughness profile R of which is 1.0 mcm or more in at least one direction on the surface of the deposited nickel layer, and a deposited tin layer having a thickness of 0.3–5.0 mcm formed on the deposited nickel layer of the metal plate.
EFFECT: material of the connecting component allows to reduce the friction and minimize the wear of the material when the connecting component, such as the terminal of the electrical connector, is connected, and to increase the reliability of the stable electrical connection.
