FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the machine building, namely to the internal combustion engines testing methods. Essence of the invention consists in the engine sequential bringing to the set modes, registration of the oil layer thickness between the side surfaces of cylinder, piston and piston ring, which is judged by the capacitive sensors signals, and the piston head temperature registration. Recording the fluid friction mode changes in the interface during the engine constant speed mode, gradually increasing the engine load and by the engine's crankshaft angular rotation registering the contact moments at the level of microroughness and the oil layer disruption in the cylinder piston group interfaces, which are judged by the capacitive sensors signal maximum value and by the capacitive sensors signal minimum value. At that, the pre-seizure condition in the cylinder-piston group interfaces is determined by the simultaneous presence of contact at the microroughness level during the operating cycle stroke and the oil layer disruption during the gas exchange cycles.
EFFECT: achieved in the proposed method implementation technical result consists in the oil layer thickness disruption point determination in the modes of operating cycle and gas exchange, characterizing the rubbing surfaces contact at the microroughness level by the sensors signals.
