FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion engineering and can be used in four-stroke, mainly automotive internal combustion engines (ICE), in particular, in production of connecting rods and pistons, which are part of connecting rod-and-piston group (CRPG) of said ICE. CRPG for four-stroke ICE includes connecting rod body, which is a single part consisting of connecting-rod shank (1), on ends of which there is crank head (2), as well as piston head (3) and along central axis of which there is through hole (4), which is connected to hole (5) made in rocking plane and outgoing to rod body outside, oriented to loaded side of wall of skirt (6) of piston (7). Owing to the central annular groove (8) in bushing (9) installed in piston head (3), hole (4) communicates with hole (10) passing through the wall of the central annular groove (8) and the wall of piston head (3) oriented to unloaded wall side of skirt (11) of piston (7). Piston (7) comprises head (13) and skirt (14), length of which along axial height of piston (7) is limited by two edges – lower (15) and upper (16). On unloaded side in wall of piston skirt (11) there are holes (17).
EFFECT: improved oil supply of friction surfaces of conjugation of piston skirt with cylinder.
