SUBSTANCE: present group of inventions relates to medicine, specifically to oncology, and concerns the use of a phorbol ester. To this end, an effective amount of 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA) or a composition containing TPA is administered.
EFFECT: this ensures the prevention or treatment of side effects of chemo- and radiotherapy, which makes it possible to conduct a full course of treatment and, therefore, increase the effectiveness of anticancer therapy.
