FIELD: hydro acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydro acoustics and can be used in the design and development of the active sonar systems in the objects detection and classification systems. In the sonar information method processing containing signal radiation, reflected echo signal reception, a of static directional characteristics fan formation with the formation of spatial channels, digital multi-channel processing, classification bank formation, information display and control, forming the consecutive time-based implementations array for all the radiation – reception time across all spatial channels, determining the correlation coefficients (CC) between the neighboring spatial channels consecutive time-based implementations, determining the adjacent spatial channels with a correlation coefficient CC>0.5, summing up the time samples amplitudes of adjacent spatial channels with CC>0.5, normalizing the resulting total time-based implementation amplitudes by the number of adjacent spatial channels with CC>0.5, determining the total normalized time-based implementation maximum amplitude, forming the results scoreboard in the classification bank by each detected target, which number is determined by the detection time, storing the total time-based implementations arrays by all detected targets and displaying to the operator in space and in time.
EFFECT: invention can be used in the active sonar systems design and development in the objects detection and classification systems.
