FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method includes a serial connection of fuel elements containing a supporting base of electrolyte and electrode layers applied on it by means of an interconnector in the form of a graded ring of conductive material, which provides electrical contact of anode of one fuel element with cathode of another, the separation of the electrolyte of the fuel elements and the interconnector placed between them by means of dielectric, as well as sealing connections of elements. Between the ends of the fuel elements and the ends of the interconnector a high-temperature gas-tight sealant is placed, the interconnector with the side of large diameter is put on the end of the supporting base of one fuel element that is free from the electrodes, and the interconnector with the side of smaller diameter is inserted into an annular opening of the support base formed by the end of the other fuel element free from the electrodes, between the end faces of the interconnector and the electrode layers an appropriate cathode or anode adhesives are placed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the assembly and operation of sub-blocks of tubular fuel elements while reducing their cost.
