FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and power electronics, in particular, to adjustable static electric converters of alternating voltage to constant voltage. The technical result is provided by the fact that the circuit of the adjustable voltage rectifier comprises thyristors of a semiconductor rectifier, voltage and current sensors, as well as new connections wherein the choke is installed in the circuit between the zero point of the adjustable voltage rectifier and the zero output of a multiphase alternating voltage source.
EFFECT: possibility of independent voltage adjustment at the terminals of the adjustable voltage rectifier both below and above the voltage level determined by the circuit of a non-controllable voltage rectifier, reduction in the number of chokes, expanded functional capabilities, increased reliability.
