SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the railway transport power supply lines, namely to the catenary system supports. Railroad catenary system supports inclination angle control method is that installing the laser range finder on the equipped with bubble level tripod on the track side, determining the first measuring point located at the rail head level, determining the second measuring point located at a height of one meter from the first measuring point. Obtained measurement results, as well as the support elevation, including the support height and taper, are entered into the mobile electronic device with special software, which calculates the catenary system supports inclination angle according to the given parameters and compares the calculations results with the normative ones. If the standard level is exceeded, on the electronic mobile device display the support emergency condition signal appears.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in the support inclination angle determining accuracy.
