FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: protective anticorrosive oxide coating on magnesium alloys is obtained by microarc oxidation and contains magnesium oxide, magnesium phosphate, magnesium silicate-forsterite and/or magnesium metasilicate, and a high-strength magnesium-wadsleyite silicate phase, the total content of which in the coating is from 1 to 40%.
EFFECT: increased corrosion resistance and adhesion of the oxide layer on magnesium alloys obtained by microarc oxidation.
