SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, specifically a heterocyclic compound of formula (I), where n is 1 or 2; Y is CH or N; R1 is pyridine substituted with -CF3, or phenyl substituted only in the meta and para positions by one, two or three members Ra; each Ra is independently selected from the group consisting of halogen, -C1-4alkyl, -CF3, -NO2 and -OC1-4alkyl; R2 is -C(Rb)2Rc or -CO-Rd; each Rb is independently selected from the group consisting of -H and -C1-3alkyl; Rc is selected from the group consisting of -F, -NH2, -OH, -OC1-3alkyl, -CH2OH, -CN, -CO2-C1-4alkyl, -CO-NHRe and -C(CH3)2OH; Rd is selected from the group consisting of -CH3, -OC1-4alkyl, -NHRe and -NHCH2CH2N(Re)2; each Re independently represents -H or -CH3; R3 is selected from the group consisting of -H and -CH3. Invention also relates to particular compounds and a pharmaceutical composition based on a compound of formula (I).
EFFECT: technical result: obtaining a novel heterocyclic compound useful for the treatment of a subject suffering from a disease, disorder or medical condition mediated by one or more monoamine oxidase (MAO) enzymes.
