FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation, in particular to aircraft safety systems. Neutral gas system for the fuel tank of the aircraft comprises neutral gas generator (3), distribution mechanism (4) and measuring device (5) for measuring the amount of oxygen in the neutral gas. Sensor (6) contains phosphorescent substance (7), light source (10) illuminating phosphorescent substance (7), measuring mechanism (11) for measuring the phosphorescence of phosphorescent substance (7) and calculating device (12) for calculating the amount of oxygen present in the neutral gas as a function of the attenuation of the measured phosphorescence directly related to the amount of oxygen in the neutral gas.
EFFECT: precise calculation of the amount of oxygen in a neutral gas is provided for a long time.
