FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: use in the field of electric power industry to protect the electrical installation against short circuits and overloads. Current protection device of the electrical installation contains a plate, a time-setting block, an execution unit. At one end of the plate, at the same distance from each other, in parallel, three to twelve reed relays are fixed by means of clamps and screws, fixing angles are fixed to the other end of the plate with bolts and nuts. At the end of the plate, near the fixing corners, with the help of clamps and screws, voltage amplifiers are fixed according to the number of reed switches, a time-setting unit, a microcontroller and an executive unit. And the reed switches with their first outputs are connected to the inputs of the corresponding voltage amplifiers, and their second outputs to the inputs of the time-setting block. In turn, the voltage amplifiers have their outputs connected to the inputs of the microcontroller, the output of the microcontroller is connected to the screen, which displays information about the magnitude of the current in the buses of the electrical installation, and the time-consuming unit with its output is connected to the input of the executive unit. In this case, at each end of the plate, the first and second boxes are rigidly fixed, so that reed switches are located under the first box, and under the second box there are voltage amplifiers, a time-setting unit, a microcontroller and an execution unit. Boxes are rectangular parallelepipeds, consisting of four walls and a lid. In turn, the walls are made holes for fixing the cover to the box and for fixing the box to the plate with screws. In this case, the walls of the boxes with the smallest length are provided with holes for making connections between reed switches, voltage amplifiers and the time-setting unit.

EFFECT: measurement of the current in the protected electrical installation during its operation.
