SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. In the method and device for laser material processing, a diffraction limited beam of pulsed laser radiation is refracted by a diffractive device to create a diffracted beam of pulsed laser radiation. Diffracted beam is then focused on and controlled by the material in time and space to irradiate the material in the target position with radiation from a plurality of pulses from the diffracted beam, so that each radiation pulse from a plurality of radiation pulses falls in the target position by a portion of the cross section of the diffracted beam, wherein a portion of the cross section contains a local maximum of the intensity of the diffracted beam. Each portion of the beam cross-section of at least a subset of the plurality pulses contains a different local intensity maximum.
EFFECT: implementation of a multipulse application to create photodestruction in the target position of the material.
