FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to methods of resuscitation and rehabilitation of neurological patients. Carry out a course of cyclic respiratory effects by artificial gas-air mixtures (AGAM). In this case, an inhalation system is provided with a normobaric oxygen-, nitrogen-, argon-containing artificial gas-air medium with an increased argon content of at least 30 % by volume, which is influenced by the patient inhalation, ensuring the effect of this medium continuously throughout the procedure. Composition of the AGAM and pressure throughout the procedure are unchanged, and procedures continue until the desired preventive, clinical or rehabilitative effects appear. In a particular case, this course of respiratory effects is carried out mainly daily or every other day, and the duration of each procedure is 30 to 120 minutes. In a particular case, as an inhalation system, a specially designed chamber or other sealed room can be used – hospital ward, box, tent, equipped with a system for preparing and supplying gas mixtures. Procedures are repeated mainly daily or every other day for a duration of 30 to 120 minutes. To achieve an expressed neuroprotective and organoprotective effect in the management of acute manifestations of hypoxic conditions, the formation and maintenance in an inhalation system or artificial hyperoxic argon-containing gas medium with an argon content of 30–70 % by volume, oxygen 25–70 % by volume, nitrogen – the rest or an artificial hypoxic argon-containing gas medium with an argon content of 30–70 vol. %, oxygen – 14–17 vol. %, nitrogen – the rest.
EFFECT: method allows essentially to increase adaptable and compensatory possibilities of an organism of patients with disturbances of an oxygen balance of an organism.
