FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to medicine, namely military field medicine and disaster medicine. After carrying out standard measures, including stopping bleeding by applying dressings and harnesses, administering hemostatic, narcotic drugs, antibiotics, blood substitutes, – wounded man is transferred to the breathing mode with an artificial gas mixture containing up to 1–35 % xenon, 30–35 % – argon, at least 21 % by volume oxygen and nitrogen – the rest, which significantly increases the probability of saving life during a long evacuation of up to 6 hours or more. Device for implementing the method of long-term maintenance of human vitality in injuries with large blood loss in the field includes front part is a mask, a breathing bag with an overpressure valve, a frame, a connecting tube, a replaceable regenerative cartridge, a mouthpiece located in the mask, a dosing bag with a switchable check valve and a connecting line, cylinder with argon-xenon gas mixture up to 0.5 liters, with pressure up to 30 MPa or two separate cylinders of smaller capacity with argon and xenon in the assembly and with a three-way valve for alternate gas supply, regulator of the mixture supply, connecting line to supply the mixture to the bag-batcher, and also a mixture pressure sensor in a balloon, a wrist portable computer with heart rate sensors (HR) and oxygen saturation of the blood, an oxygen and xenon concentration sensor in the breathing bag.
EFFECT: method and device are designed to rescue a wounded man with a large blood loss, who is in the field, and who cannot be urgently evacuated to hospital conditions; method and device provide a reserve of time for evacuation and saving the life of the wounded, long-term, up to 6 hours or more, maintaining vitality in the field when injured with large blood loss.
