FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for synergistic visbreaking of polypropylenes. Composition for synergistic visbreaking from peroxide and hydroxylamine ester is proposed to increase the visbreaking efficiency of polypropylene polymers at a melt extrusion temperature below 250 °C, as well as its use in the visbreaking of polypropylene. It is also proposed to use polypropylene polymers with reduced viscosity viscousness to produce non-woven meltblowns with improved barrier properties.
EFFECT: reducing amount of degradation agents to achieve the desired visbreaking efficiency at a melt extrusion temperature of less than 250 °C.
