FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition comprising lignin. Composition comprising lignin for producing fuel or fuel additives comprises lignin, a solvent and a carrier liquid, wherein the lignin is at least 4 wt% of the composition, and wherein the lignin is characterised by a weight average molecular weight of not more than 5,000 g/mol, and wherein the solvent is an alcohol, an ether or an organic ester, sulfoxide, ketone, aldehyde or a combination thereof, and wherein the carrier liquid is a mixture of a hydrocarbon oil and a fatty acid, wherein the hydrocarbon oil is a gas oil. Also disclosed is a method for the preparation of a composition and use thereof.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a composition for producing fuel or fuel additives using a simpler method.
