METHOD FOR DETECTING HEPARIN IN BLOOD Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01N33/48

Abstract RU 2662171 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to instrumental methods for assessing the functional state of the hemostasis system. Method of detecting heparin in blood samples is that they perform a thromboelastography with whole citrated blood with the addition of a solution of 0.2 M calcium chloride and thromboelastography with whole citrated blood with the addition of a solution of 0.2 M calcium chloride and a heparin inactivator, and the presence of heparin in the blood sample is revealed by the time indices from the start of coagulation to formation of the first fibrin fibers, min (R), the time of the change in the coagulation amplitude, its rise or slowing, min (K), by exponents of the maximum amplitude (MA) and the angle α (angle α) in the sample with inactivator in comparison with the sample without it, while the heparin inactivator is polybrene at a final concentration of 15–30 mcg/ml, and presence of heparin in the blood sample is revealed by shortening the R and K indices and increasing the MA and angle α in a sample with whole citrated blood with the addition of a solution of 0.2 M calcium chloride and polybrene as compared to sample with whole citrated blood with the addition of a solution of 0.2 M calcium chloride.

EFFECT: method for detecting heparin in blood samples is proposed.
