FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to indicator, recording and signaling devices powered by electrical means and can be used, in particular, as a sensor for determining the location of leakage of electrically conductive liquids, preferably on extended objects using a hydrosensor cable. Sensor contains two conductors, each of which is made in the form of at least one current-carrying vein, connected to an electronic indicator made in the form of a resistance meter, each of the conductors being placed in a conductive sheath around which a water-permeable shell is disposed, and both conductors are twisted together in the longitudinal direction, the conductors are protected in separate sections by an external waterproof insulating coating, a water-permeable shell of capillary-porous material is made with taps and/or additional attachments to it from a similar material, and along the water-permeable shell from the capillary-porous material, the sections are delimited along the edges by transverse plates or transverse limiting thin inclusions of waterproof electrically insulating materials.
EFFECT: required technical result consists in improving the quality characteristics, in particular, accuracy.
