FIELD: measurement technology; computer control systems. SUBSTANCE: temperature-sensitive element has capsule, capillary tube with conductors and working fluid. Capsule communicates with capillary tube. Capillary tube accommodates conductors brought outside. Working fluid is located in capsule and in capillary tube. It consists of two component parts. One part is electrically nonconducting and the other, conducting. The latter occupies smaller part of capillary tube volume and has function of moving contact. Conductors have sections coated with electric insulation material. Arrangement of noninsulated and insulated sections provides for binary-code signal at output of temperature-sensitive element. Presentation of information in binary code at output of temperature-sensitive element makes it possible to reduce number of leads. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 2 dwg
