FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the preparation of 1H-benzo[ƒ]chromens from 1-[(dimethylamino)methyl]-2-naphthols and 1,1,1-trifluoro-4-morpholinobuten-3-one-2 in the boiling acetic acid medium in a molar ratio (1:1), which are promising starting compounds for the synthesis of pharmacologically active substances.
EFFECT: simplification of the technological process and cheaper production, achieved by using available 1,1,1-trifluoro-4-morpholinobuten-3-one-2 and acetic acid without the need to use an inert atmosphere and catalysts.
