SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of propellent charges (PC) in rigid combustible caps (RCCs). Rigid combustible cap for throwing charges of mortar shots of the horseshoe shape consists of the two halves with a lateral seam, with a cavity between the half-shells for the placement of gunpowder, with the opening in the middle of the cap under the mine stabilizer tube, with the groove between the "legs" of the cap in order to put the cap on the stabilizer tube, which are connected together by means of gluing, welding, soldering. In the middle of the cap on the side opposite the groove for putting the cap on the mine, the X-shaped pad is performed, its size is equal to 15×8 mm with the angle of rotation of two parts relative to each other up to 55°.

EFFECT: design ensures uniform distribution of gunpowder along the diameter of the mine stabilizer, while reducing the probability of gapping at the point of greatest stress, facilitating the installation and increasing the effectiveness of mounting the cap on the mine liner, as well as eliminating the movement along the length of the mine stabilizer tube.
